Descripción :	This study establishes how we could use accountability as a mechanism to prevent corruption, taking in consideration the antecedents of accountability in Mexico, the investigation target and the purpose of the study, as well as its framework of reference, the goal of this study is scoped to identify if the rendering of accounts can collaborate in an effective way to mitigate the corruption in our environment, it is intended to establish the importance of participating and getting involved as a society and keep informed of the exercise of public resources. En este estudio se establece de qué manera podríamos utilizar la rendición de cuentas como un mecanismo para prevenir la corrupción, mencionando antecedentes de rendición de cuenta en México, el problema de investigación, justificaciones del estudio, así como su marco de referencia, el objetivo general fue identificar si la rendición de cuentas puede colaborar de forma efectiva a mitigar la corrupción en nuestro entorno, se pretende establecer la importancia de participar e involucrarnos como sociedad y mantenerse informados del ejercicio de los recursos públicos.
